The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship
The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship is awarded annually to a West Virginia University undergraduate student who has demonstrated an active interest and meaningful involvement in areas of human rights, civil rights, social justice and/or world peace, or other activities exemplary or reflective of the ideals and life of Dr. King. The recipient of the award will be announced at the Martin Luther King Unity Breakfast at 8 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010, in the Mountainlair ballrooms. The full amount of this award ($1,000) will be applied to the 2010/2011 financial aid package of the recipient in the amount of $500 per semester.2010 Martin Luther King, Jr. Achievement Award Nomination Form
