Marjorie Fuller was appointed to the position of Director of The WVU Center for Black Culture and Research in the spring of 2008. She was previously a professor in the Department of Pan African Studies at Kent State University. She has also served as The Assistant Dean for Intercultural Life at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and as The Director of Diversity Affairs at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa.
Ms. Fuller is a past national representative of BMcPIE, Black and Multicultural Professionals in International Education (a sic of NAFSA), and is a member, past executive board member, and Griot for the NABCC, The National Association of Black Culture Centers.

Ms. Zhao has her PHD in Art History and Master’s degree in Higher Educational Leadership. She is completing her MFA degree in Graphic Design at WVU. She has been working at the Center since 2008.

Veronicah has a Master’s degree in Educational Research and Evaluation.
She is currently a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Higher Education Curriculum. She has 7 years of teaching experience as a High School Mathematics and Geography teacher, and 3 years of experience as an Undergraduate Academic Advisor. At the Center she supervised PASSkey mentors and is currently working on a new student orientation program to replace PASSkey.
Veronicah is currently writing dissertation titled: A Critical Hermeneutics Literature Analysis of Causes of Students and Teachers Silencing in Public K-16 Schools: How Natural Silence Strategies can Interrupt those Causes of Silencing and Heal the Wounds of their Silencings.
