Eric Jordan
Eric graduated from Garret College with an Associate’s in Communication and Salisbury State University with a Bachelors in Communications and currently serves as the Program Coordinator in The Center for Black Culture.
Eric also serves as the Creative Director for The Norman Jordan African American Arts & Heritage Academy, a one week summer immersion camp for students 13-18 focusing on history, culture, creative writing dance, vocal/instrumental music, theater arts, visual arts, and literature. This academy received the 2024 Diversity in Arts Award from the West Virginia Symphony and Orchestra. Eric was also named a 2024 Black Appalachian Storyteller Fellow by the National Association of Black Storytellers.
Before joining The Center for Black Culture Eric was the Program Coordinator at the National Research Center for Coal & Energy.
